Rotary Press is important forming equipment for resin bonded grinding wheel production line. It is an efficient solution to automatically produce Good Quality Grinding Wheels and capable of high output. The grinding wheel production machines are categorized by GRINDING WHEEL TYPES: wheel size and abrasive mixture layers.
Basic Process in Resin-bond Grinding Wheels Production
The abrasive mix is loaded by a automatic feeder by weight, and then the levelling units distribute the abrasive mixture even.
Leveling the abrasive mixture to be flat.
We have multiple solutions to load fiberglass nets in cut-off (grinding) wheels production.
The fiberglass net is heated to be soft and then pressed into flat(for flat wheels) or depressed shape( for depressed grinding wheels).
After heating, the fiberglass net is pressed to flap or depressed shape.
The automatic unit loading the metal ring and label automatically. We have solutions for the materials automatic loading in grinding wheel production.
The main cylinder press down and compact the abrasive mixture, fiberglass, metal ring and label into solid grinding wheel.
Pressed Grinding Wheels are unloaded from the mold cavity, picked up by a vacuum gripper and transfered to the conveyor belt.

This rotary press is used to make grinding wheel or cut- off the wheel with diameter 100-125 mm (4 inch-5 inch), flat or depressed wheels by changing toolings.
Production: D100-125mm; 3 layer abrasive mixture
