Safety speed test of Flap Disc

In the safety speed test, the abrasive product is mounted in a clamping device on a suitable test rig and loaded up to the test speed

Bursting speed test of Flap Disc

​

The security against breakage is checked by a centrifugal force test. The abrasive product is mounted in a clamping device on a suitable test rig and is then loaded with an increasing number of revolutions up to the minimum bursting speed given. The abrasive product passes the bursting test if it reaches the minimum bursting speed without breaking.

Note: All abrasive products subjected to the bursting test shall be destroyed
